Tony Wilcox
Tony is a qualified Shoe maker and worked for a local Shoe company for 30 + years before moving on. Currently works for the Post Office which allows plenty of time to get involved with other things. Started his officiating career back in the 1977 when as a Soccer referee and moved through the system ending up as a Football League Referee. Left soccer to take up a new hobby, Hockey and played in Goal for his local club. Alongside most goalkeepers Tony ended up umpiring the odd Sunday game and decided that a qualification in this area would be a good idea. He quickly became involved with the local umpire association as Fixture Secretary and Coaching Co-ordinator. Tony is currently on the West Umpiring committee as Youth Development officer and also on the England Hockey Umpires Committee at Milton Keynes.
Tony and his wife, Terri, love sport of all sorts. They have two teenage children. Tony also coaches sailing, canoeing and officiates at ASA meetings.
